NEW:  There are 3 postdoc positions in algorithmic game theory (deadline is the 10th OCT 2013) and 3 more in computational complexity. They are listed on the “vacancies” section of http://www.cs.ox.ac.uk/

The motivation of this summer school is to blend: blue seasides, green forests, bar night lights and beautiful ideas in algorithms and game theory. We hope that the beauty of this island will excite our participants and influence their lectures. We also hope that our sun will enlighten their new ideas, while the “new hotel roof will help to shape their new proofs”. When the sun goes down, and the school reaches the end, our wish is that all visitors do not forget to sign their names across the sand. It will patiently keep these names warm during the winter, until their next summer visit.

The school will start at 14/7  (welcome day) and will last for 7 nights.

Each non lecturer participant must complete the online registation form in order to attend the school.

If you wish to stay in a hotel with special prices, see the accommodation tab.

The lectures will take place at the Central Theater located at the Town Hall of Samos. Here are the  directions from the port to the Central Theater.

  2. I’m amazed, I have to admit. Seldom do I come across a blog that’s
both equally educative and entertaining, and let me tell you,
you have hit the nail on the head. The problem is something that not enough folks are speaking intelligently about.

I’m very happy I stumbled across this in my hunt for something relating to this.
